Review

This review applies to version 2.2 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

5 Spots is an extremely easy-to-play game which goal is to detect differences between two versions of the same picture. The one thing you have to do is to take a deep look to the pictures and spot the differences between them. As its name indicates, in each level you have to spot the 5 differences that there are. One convenient thing about this game is that you can spot differences in either two picture windows. Just click on the zone in which the difference is located and the game, in the case your guess is correct, will draw a red rectangular shape around the spot.
To give a little more excitement to the game, there is a time limitation to complete the level. If you find the five spots before time runs out you win and pass the level. If you don’t you lose and have to replay the same level (only with a different picture). If you prefer to pass the level, even losing some points in the process, you can use one of your five jokers available. There are five jokers for your whole game, so try to save them as long as possible.

The game takes pictures from several sources, among which we can remark: NASA, US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and else.

When you enter the game, you’ll be seeing the welcome screen with the following options:
- Start: to start playing the first level.
- Info & Options: this is the menu from which you can set some game options like: sound effects volume, music volume, among others.
- Quit: no further explanation required.
You can try this game for 60 minutes before you buy the licensed version. If you like it, you can buy this game for only 19.95 dollars, right from the Sun Bear Games web site.
